Community Christmas Fund
For the last ten years the Kokomo Chrysler plants, all three locals 685, 1166 and 1302 have worked together to provide a Christmas for children in the Kokomo area who may not otherwise have had a Christmas.
It’s been an interesting ten years. If you add it all up with an average of say 90 children per year for ten years that is almost 1,000 local children who have been touched by the men and women of all four Kokomo plants.
This is tremendous testimony to what we can accomplish when we work together. Both UAW and Management people contribute to this effort in various ways, generously giving of themselves and their time.
People from each plant are chosen to shop and wrap gifts for the children. In recognition of their dedication, ITP II selects these employees from the perfect attendance list.
